Ana Kastelec joined the firm in 2016. She primarily deals with matters of corporate law / M&A, contract law and dispute resolution.
During her studies, Ana provided legal advice to students through the Student Counselling Office, which operated under the Student Organization of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. During her studies, Ana participated in several student competitions, including the most prestigious student competition in the knowledge of international law in the world, Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, at which her team achieved third place, which also represents the best result in the history of Slovenia.
On completion of her studies at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, she worked at a reputable Slovenian law firm, following which she enrolled in a postgraduate law degree at University College London in Great Britain (LL.M.), where she obtained her master's degree in 2012. Prior to passing the state bar examination, she accepted an internship at the Ljubljana Higher Court. In 2014, she worked as a guest lecturer at the university DIU Libertas in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Upon her return to Slovenia, and before joining out team, she worked at a renowned Slovenian law firm where she dealt primarily which corporate law and dispute resolution.
