The Slovene Inheritance (Amendment) Act, which harmonizes the rules in case of cross-border successions in the EU, has entered into force.

Article 184 of the Code of Obligations (OZ), which provided the conditions for the transfer of the decedent's assets to the heirs, was repealed by the Constitutional Court’s ruling no. U-I-213/15-13.

The Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia changed its yearlong case law regarding claims to determine the existence of an employment relationship, due to the dismissal of claims. The ruling in question paves the way to easier exercise of actions connected to the termination of the employment relationship.
