The new EU regulation aiming to facilitate cross-border debt recovery came into force on 18 January 2017.

The recent CJEU ruling consolidates the case law regarding inadmissibility of the general obligation of indiscriminate retention of data relating to electronic communications.

On 17 February 2017, following over a year of a delay, the National Assembly adopted the Posting of Workers Act (Zakon o čezmejnem izvajanju storitev, PWA), which serves to transpose EU provisions relating to the provision of services with posted workers. The PWA sets forth multiple new obligations for both employers and the self-employed carrying out such services.
