Amendments to the Minimum Wage Act

In December 2018, the National Assembly adopted proposed amendments to the Minimum Wage Act despite the opposition from the employers who, during the adoption procedure, repeatedly drew attention to the unsustainable effects of such adoption that could make carrying out business and providing jobs in Slovenia impossible.

The business performance bonuses that the worker received from another employer are not decisive for the more favourable tax treatment of the business performance bonus

The Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (FURS) has recently issued an explanation in which it stated that the fact that worker received a business performance bonus from two (or more) employers in the same calendar year does not affect the tax treatment of these bonuses.
