New amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Act (ZPIZ – 2) entered into force on 1 January 2020. The amendments concern the payment of allowable homeworking expenses, and changes to occupational insurance.

The new Regulation on expenses for official travel abroad was adopted at the end of 2019. The amendments affect employees in both the public and the private sector. The amendments came into effect on 1 January 2020.

Amendments to the Labor Market Regulation Act have come into force, ringing in changes with regard to unemployment benefits, compulsory knowledge of the Slovenian language, inclusion in active employment policy measures, etc.

Several changes in the field of labor law and social security came into effect in January 2020. These include amendments to the ZDR-1 and ZSDP-1, which bring additional benefits for parents.
