Is it possible to request compensation from an insurance company for damage incurred as a result of the CoVID-19 outbreak?
Various measures and prohibitions related to controlling the spread of the CoVID-19 epidemic have led to a reduction in the volume of business and the occurrence of commercial harm to market entities, as they are unable to carry out their activities or can only carry out their activities in a limited manner (e.g. online sales). In doing so, these persons raise the question of the insurer, with which they have concluded a downtime insurance policy or any other relevant insurance policy, covering the damage incurred by the insured persons.
